Areas we serve across Sharjah
Al Jazeera Dental Clinic has looked after families across Sharjah since 1998. We have one clinic, on Al Khan Street in Al Majaz 3, with parking in front. We’re open Sunday to Friday from 9 AM to 10 PM and Saturday from 12:30 PM to 10 PM, and the consultation and X-ray are free.
Looking for a dental clinic near you in Sharjah? Patients come to us from all over the city. Below is practical information for the neighbourhoods most of them travel from, with full pages for Al Majaz, Al Khan, Abu Shagara, Al Nahda and Al Taawun: how to get here, when traffic is heaviest, and what people from each area usually ask us. Worried about cost? See how we keep dental care affordable. هذه الصفحة بالعربية.
Al Majaz
Al Majaz is our home neighbourhood. Many patients live in the towers along the Buhairah Corniche and Al Khan Street, or walk over after an evening at Al Majaz Waterfront or Al Majaz Park. For most residents the clinic is a short walk or a few minutes by car, so a check-up fits into a lunch break. Evening traffic around the Waterfront builds up, so allow a little extra time if you drive from the Corniche side. More about visiting us from Al Majaz.
Al Khan
The clinic is on Al Khan Street itself, so residents of Al Khan, from the newer waterfront towers to the older streets by the lagoon, are among our closest neighbours. Families visiting the Sharjah Aquarium or the Maritime Museum are only a short drive away, which helps if someone knocks a tooth on a day out. Al Khan Street is busiest in the late afternoon. More about visiting us from Al Khan.
Al Qasba and Buhaira
From Al Qasba, the Eye of the Emirates wheel and the Buhairah Corniche around Khalid Lagoon, we are a short drive away, and the parking in front of the clinic saves searching for a space near the canal. Weekend evenings around Al Qasba can be slow. Many patients from here ask about whitening, bonding and veneers; we always start with a check-up, because healthy teeth and gums come first.
Al Taawun
Al Taawun’s towers near the lagoon and Expo Centre Sharjah are home to many families who commute to Dubai. The drive to us is short, but traffic around the Expo Centre is heavier on exhibition days. Because we open until 10 PM, a cleaning and check-up, which usually takes under an hour, can fit in after work. More about visiting us from Al Taawun.
Al Nahda
Al Nahda sits right on the border with Dubai, and roads there are busiest at commuting times. A morning slot or an appointment after 8 PM is usually easiest. Families near Sahara Centre often book back-to-back appointments so one trip covers everyone. More about visiting us from Al Nahda.
Al Mamzar (Sharjah side)
From the Sharjah side of Al Mamzar the drive is usually short outside peak hours. Parents from this area often ask us to see the whole household in one visit, so we book family appointments back to back. Children are welcome from their first teeth, and a parent always stays in the room.
Abu Shagara
Abu Shagara is central and busy, so the parking in front of the clinic is appreciated. Evening traffic around King Faisal Street can be heavy. Many patients from here tell us cost has made them put off treatment, so we show you your X-ray, explain the options from simplest to most complete, and give you the price in writing before anything starts. More about visiting us from Abu Shagara.
Rolla: a dental clinic close to Rolla
From Rolla Square, Al Arouba Street and the heritage area, allow a little extra time in the evening, when central streets are busy. Rolla is home to people from many countries, so tell us your preferred language when you book and we will try to match you with a dentist who speaks it. Our dentists speak English, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu and Malayalam.
Al Qasimia
Families from Al Qasimia, around Al Wahda Street, often visit together, with grandparents, parents and children seen in back-to-back appointments. We look after dentures and crowns for older relatives, fillings and root canal treatment for adults, and gentle check-ups for children. Parking right in front of the clinic makes visits easier for older relatives.
Muwaileh and University City
From Muwaileh and University City the drive takes longer than from central areas, so plan ahead at peak hours. Many students visit in the evening after classes, and a check-up at the start of each semester stops small problems turning painful during exams. We can also explain braces and clear aligners and give you a written plan.
