Malayalam speaking dentist in Sharjah
Two of our dentists speak Malayalam: Dr Anija Sreekumar and Dr Christina S. Families from Kerala can discuss treatment, children’s care and costs in their own language.
Dental care in Malayalam
Sharjah is home to a large Malayali community. Many families feel more at ease discussing health in Malayalam, especially when children or older parents are involved. A Malayalam speaking dentist can explain a diagnosis clearly, answer questions naturally and make sure everyone at home understands the plan.
At Al Jazeera Dental Clinic in Al Majaz, Dr Anija Sreekumar and Dr Christina S. both speak Malayalam, as well as English and Hindi. This page explains what they treat and how to book.
Our Malayalam speaking dentists
Dr Anija Sreekumar
General dentist with a Master’s Certificate in Orthodontics. Braces, clear aligners, retainers and general care.
Dr Christina S.
General dentist with an MDS in Pedodontics. Children’s dentistry, check-ups, fillings and gum care.
Both female dentists
If you prefer to see a woman, both of our Malayalam speaking dentists are female.

Why families look for a Malayalam speaking dentist
Dental decisions often involve the whole family. When a child needs fillings, or a teenager is considering braces, parents want to understand the reasons, the timeline and the cost. Hearing it in Malayalam makes it easier to ask questions and to share the plan with grandparents or relatives at home.
Children also tend to relax when the dentist speaks the language they hear every day. A calm first visit makes future check-ups easier, which is how small problems are caught early.
Braces and clear aligners with Dr Anija
Dr Anija looks at how the teeth and bite work together, not just how straight they look. At a consultation she explains, in Malayalam if you prefer, whether braces or clear aligners will give the better result, roughly how long treatment will take, and what it involves day to day. She treats teenagers and adults. See our braces and clear aligners pages.
Children’s dentistry with Dr Christina
Dr Christina’s postgraduate degree is in pedodontics. She sees children from their first teeth, takes first visits slowly and keeps parents in the room. She provides check-ups, fluoride, fillings and advice on brushing and diet. Our guide to your child’s first dental visit explains how to prepare. See also our children’s dentistry page.

Our dentists who speak Malayalam can see children and adults, and we’ll plan the order so that young children are not kept waiting.
Insurance and payment
We accept FMC, NGI, Inayah, Aafiya, SAICO / Damana, GlobeMed, MSH, Fazaa and Esaad, and handle approvals for you. For treatment your plan doesn’t cover, including braces and aligners, you can spread the cost with Tabby, Tamara or Toothpick. See our insurance page.
