Talk to your dentist in Hindi or Urdu

Sharjah is home to large Indian and Pakistani communities, and many families prefer to discuss health in Hindi or Urdu. It makes a real difference when you need to describe pain, understand a diagnosis or decide between treatments. A Hindi speaking dentist can explain things simply and answer your questions without anything getting lost in translation.

At Al Jazeera Dental Clinic in Al Majaz, Dr Ranjeet Kumar, Dr Anija Sreekumar and Dr Christina S. all speak Hindi, and Dr Ranjeet also speaks Urdu. Here is who you can see and how to book.

Why language matters at the dentist

When you’re in pain or worried about cost, it’s hard to follow a fast explanation in a second language. Patients sometimes agree to treatment without fully understanding it, or leave with questions they didn’t feel able to ask. Seeing a Hindi speaking dentist removes that barrier, because you can describe exactly what you feel.

It also helps with aftercare. Instructions after an extraction or root canal treatment are important, and you are more likely to follow them correctly when they are explained in your own language.

Treatments available in Hindi and Urdu

Whatever you need, there is usually a Hindi speaking dentist on our team who can help. Between them, our Hindi speaking dentists provide almost every treatment we offer at the clinic.

Available

  • Check-ups, cleaning and gum care
  • Fillings, crowns and bridges
  • Root canal treatment

Root canal treatment with Dr Ranjeet

As a Hindi speaking dentist and our Medical Director, Dr Ranjeet holds a Diploma in Endodontics, the field that deals with the inside of the tooth. He explains root canal treatment step by step, in Hindi, Urdu or English. Root canal treatment saves a tooth that would otherwise need to be removed, and with modern numbing most patients feel pressure rather than pain. See our root canal treatment page.

Braces and aligners with Dr Anija

Dr Anija is a Hindi speaking dentist who plans braces and clear aligner treatment and explains honestly which option suits your teeth. Orthodontic treatment takes months, so it helps to see a dentist you can talk to easily at every visit. She treats teenagers and adults. Read more on our braces and clear aligners pages.

Children’s dentistry with Dr Christina

Dr Christina has an MDS in pedodontics, the branch of dentistry for children. Children often relax when the dentist speaks the language they hear at home. She takes first visits slowly and keeps parents in the room. See our children’s dentistry page and our guide to your child’s first dental visit.
