Al Khan Street, Al Majaz 3 · Open until 10 PM · Free consultation and X-ray

Fair prices, no surprises

Many people in Sharjah search for a cheap dentist or dental clinic offers because they are worried about cost. That worry is understandable, and it often leads to putting treatment off until a small problem becomes a painful, expensive one.

This page explains how we keep dental care affordable at Al Jazeera Dental Clinic in Al Majaz: what is free, how we give you the cost before anything starts, which insurance we accept, how instalments work, and how to tell a genuinely good-value clinic from a too-good-to-be-true offer.

What helps your budget

6 ways we keep dental care affordable

Free consultation and X-ray

Your first check-up and X-ray cost nothing, so you know what you need before you spend anything.

The cost in writing

You get the full price in writing before treatment starts, including your insurance share.

Insurance handled for you

Seven insurers plus Fazaa and Esaad cards, with pre-approvals arranged by our team.

Instalments

Spread the cost with Tabby, Tamara or Toothpick for treatment your plan does not cover.

Simplest option first

We explain options from simplest to most complete, and tell you when treatment can safely wait.

Treatment in stages

Larger plans can be split over several visits, starting with what matters most.

What is free at our clinic

Your first consultation and X-ray are free. The dentist checks your teeth and gums, takes an X-ray if one is needed, shows you the image on screen and explains what it shows. You leave with a clear plan and a written cost, and there is no pressure to book treatment on the day.

For many people the free check-up is enough on its own: it confirms that nothing urgent is wrong, or finds a small problem while it’s still quick and inexpensive to fix.

Using your insurance

We accept FMC, NGI, Inayah, Aafiya, SAICO / Damana, GlobeMed and MSH, as well as Fazaa and Esaad cards. Many UAE plans with dental benefits cover check-ups, cleaning, fillings, root canal treatment and extractions, often with a co-payment. Cosmetic treatment such as whitening and veneers is usually not covered.

Cover depends on your own policy, not just the insurer. Send a photo of your card on WhatsApp and we will check your benefits, so you know your share before you arrive. You can also use our dental insurance checker or read the insurance and payment page.

Bring to your visit

  • Emirates ID
  • Insurance, Fazaa or Esaad card
  • A list of any medicines
  • Recent X-rays, if you have them

Paying in instalments

For treatment your insurance doesn’t cover, or for your share of a larger plan, you can pay in instalments with Tabby, Tamara or Toothpick. Ask when you book and we’ll explain the steps. Our guide to paying for dental treatment in instalments covers how it works in more detail.

Prevention is the cheapest dentistry

The most affordable treatment is the one you never need. A check-up and clean every six months finds decay and gum disease early, when a small filling or a routine clean solves the problem. Leave it, and the same tooth may need root canal treatment and a crown.

Simple habits at home help too: brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between your teeth daily, and cutting down on sugary drinks between meals. Our free daily dental routine and check-up reminder tools make it easier to keep going.

Cheap dental offers: what to check

A low advertised price can be a good way to try a clinic, but it is worth checking what is included. A cleaning offer that covers only a few minutes of polishing may leave tartar under the gums. A low price for a crown or veneer may not include the X-ray, the temporary or the follow-up visit.

The fairest comparison is the total cost of the treatment you actually need, from a licensed clinic that shows you your X-ray and puts a written quote. Be wary of anyone who pressures you to decide on the spot or recommends a lot of treatment without explaining why.

Ask any clinic

  • What exactly is included in the price?
  • Is the check-up and X-ray included?
  • Will I get the price on paper?
  • What happens if I need a follow-up visit?
  • Is there a simpler option?
